Not Just Bricks believes LEGO® is the ultimate in loose parts play, giving you or your kids the chance to have fun and explore your creativity, whilst building skills in all the STEAM areas of Science, Technology, Engineering Art and Maths.
Not Just Bricks offers a wide range of individual workshops and courses for all children, young people, adults, and families too. These classes aim to enable a fun, a safe space to explore different areas of creativity, to build skills and make friends too. Not Just Bricks can provide bespoke activities to meet everyone’s needs which are SENs friendly too.
Not Just Bricks offers LEGO® courses, clubs, and single session workshops throughout the year. During school term time there is a timetable of different courses running through the week and one-off sessions available at weekends. The main sessions usually last from around 1hr to 90 minutes and are available both during the day for the home educating community and after school our sessions are open to all.
Each course runs for half a term, except for participation in FIRST® LEGO® League coaching which runs from Sept – Feb for the Challenge Programme and April-July for the Explore Programme
During school holidays there is a varied programme of activities which include single taster sessions, short courses, LEGO® building challenges and Create & Keep builds.
Not Just Bricks offers sessions at a variety of venues in and around Buxton, including Buxton’s very own Independent LEGO Themed Coffee Shop – Brick Corner. Other venues include The Cafe at The Green Pavilion, High Peak Bookstore and Buxton Methodist Church. Not Just Bricks also attends a variety of Community Events too.

Special Educational Needs
Not Just Bricks understands the benefits Lego activities can bring to children and adults with SEN and I am very happy to adapt activities and courses to cater for all needs. From my own personal experience, I understand that even a small group activity can still be too overwhelming for a person with SEN and so I am happy to provide 1:1 sessions and can work with the child or adult to meet their individual needs.
I can also with local schools to provide sessions for their pupils during the school day and these are very successful. Contact us for more information.
Schools, Community Groups and Corporate Sessions
Not Just Bricks sessions can be delivered in a School and Corporate setting too. They are ideal for team building, enrichment activities and challenge days and can adapted for larger group sizes.
The sessions can be hourly, a half or a full day. Please contact us for more information.
