The LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 kit is designed for use with children 10yrs to 16yrs old. It is a versatile robotics kit with a wide variety of extra motors and sensors for building more complex robots which can move in multiple directions and can be coded to complete more complex tasks. This is another hands-on solution that allows children further develop skills in engineering, computing, and science. The coding software use with this kit is called EV3 Classroom which a SCRATCH based software and allows the children to code both simple and very complex solutions.
Ages: 10yrs – 16yrs
The EV3 Mindstorms Robotic kits are also the same technology which can be currently used in the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge Competitions.
